WARRANTY on Bings.ca Multi-link suspension components
|
Under extreme conditions, such as impact or weather conditions leading to corrosion, even the best of components will be prone to failure.
There will always be stories of rod ends snapping or arms bending no matter how well the products were built simply because some people do or try to do exceptional things with their cars.
Regardless, it is the intention of Bings.ca to service the users of its products as fairly as possible; it is also our intention that this level of service exceeds that of other companies who offer similar products.
Knowing that it is impossible to 100% eliminate all concerns we offer the following warranty and exchange policy:
1. Should the suspension arms you receive not fit properly you will receive a full refund when the parts are returned or a replacement if so desired.
2. Should you detect any irregularities in the product such that you are not comfortable installing them you will receive a full refund when the parts are returned or a replacement if so desired.
3. Should you detect any failure such as bending or cracking in the construction of the body of the arms within ONE YEAR of purchase you shall be entitled to a full replacement. The piece you wish to be replaced must be returned to us before we can honour the replacement. We will return the replacement component and bare the shipping costs for shipping this piece(s) to you. You will be responsible for shipping the part to be replaced to us.
a) The preceding policy refers to the powder coated arms of the Rear upper control arm. For the Toe and Traction arms the policy refers to the anodized aluminum sleeves and the polished stainless steel bracket-end. For Tension Control Arms this policy refers to all components except for the rod ends.
b) Rod ends are considered to be a wear item and do not fall under this policy. Should you feel that your rod ends have worn too quickly you may return these rod ends to us and will be offered replacement rod ends at a price superior to market. Please note that we do not manufacture rod ends, we source all of our rod ends directly from QA1 and therefore cannot accept responsibility for the functionality of their products over the life of your arms.
c) Spacers, jam nuts and other supporting hardware provided by Bings.ca does fall under this policy and must be returned to us before a replacement is sent to you.
4. Our warranty does not apply to components that have been damaged due to accident or to components exposed to extreme corrosion as regular maintenance should negate the effects of corrosion or detect the effects before failure.
5. Our warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable to any subsequent users or vehicles.
6. Noises determined to be a result of installing these components does not constitute grounds for warranty.
7. All parts returned MUST be returned in the condition received and accompanied by all supporting hardware. Any less than this will be assumed as a request for replacement of only the components returned to Bings.ca.
All suspension components are intended for off-road (race-track) use only and may not comply with federal, provincial, state or municipal automotive legislation. Bings.ca assumes no liability for the manner of use or subsequent results of use from these or any other products offered herein. It is the responsibility of the user to arrange install and operate his or her vehicle in a safe and law-abiding manner. Enjoy responsibly. |

Warranty on other products

Fiberglass Aero
Warranty on fiberglass aero components is pre-install only.
If you receive your items and feel that they are unsuitable for install due to manufacturing flaws causing unrepairable blemishes or poor fitment you may return them for a full refund or exchange, not including shipping charges. The user is responsible for returning the item to us for inspection.
We cannot accept for return or exchange aero components that have been modified in any way to fit your vehicle. For this reason you must notify us immediately in the event of any issues.

Unbranded parts
In general, the rule is that grey-market parts have grey-market warranties. However, to be fair to our customers we offer a better warranty policy than you would expect on parts of this nature and at this price.
Firstly, we do not manufacture these parts and as is the case with most distributors we honour the warranties of our suppliers. Luckily for you, the customer, we will not continue to do business with companies that do not satisfy the warranty claims of our clients.
As such, we have developed long-standing relationships with our current suppliers and are typically able to offer reasonable warranties on all parts.
Warranties differ by product and product type so please read carefully.
All items are subject to 100% return for exchange or refund before install due too obvious defects or oversights. If you receive a product that is broken or unusable for reasons that should have been detected before shipping you will be entitled to a full refund or exchange.
Upon install and use there is no warranty expressed or implied on any unbranded item.
However, if you do have problems with your products please let us know and we can do our best to work out other arrangements.

SR20DET / KA24DE-T / CA18DET / RB20/25DET exhaust manifolds.
Some say these manifolds are excellent and some call them crack-tastic. We use these manifolds on 300+ rwhp cars and after tens of thousands of kilometers they are still performing as intended.
The crux of the issue is install. The SR20 exhaust manifold bares the entire weight of itself, the turbo and the pre-cat exhaust. If your engine moves a great deal, perhaps due to worn out engine mounts, then your manifold is not going to last very long at all. You must also be sure that your exhaust (catback, downpipe) is properly secured with good exhaust hangers. Reducing movement of you exhaust and reducing the weight load on the manifold flanges will dramatically improve the longevity of your manifold.
If you do not use the support brackets when you install, again, your manifold is not going to last very long.
However if you, like us, have upgraded engine mounts, use the support brackets provided, and support your exhaust as best you can then there is no reason why your manifold will not last as long as the rest of your engine.
DO NOT use the gaskets provided with these manifolds. We highly recommend buying proper steel gaskets for the turbo flange and the flange on the engine. These manifolds come with gaskets but the gaskets are not up the heat cycling that they are exposed to. You would also be well advised to use better manifold studs.
It is also a very wise idea to plane the flanges on all intake and exhuast manifolds to ensure a proper seal.

Branded Parts
The following holds true for Garrett Turbochargers, Cometic Headgaskets, ARP stud kits, Koyo Radiators and all other brand name items on bings.ca
The original manufacturer carries out warranties for brand name products. For example, if you have a problem with your Garrett Turbocharger purchased through us you must contact Precision Turbo for warranty issues. If required, we will contact the manufacturer as your proof of purchase.

Please contact us with all your concerns about your products. It is impossible for one warranty policy to encompass the multitude of possible issues. We understand that there is such a thing as extraordinary circumstances and we are always willing to provide assistance to our customers who show us continued support.
Please be reasonable with your concerns, as impossible as it is to provide an all-encompassing warranty policy it is equally impossible to satisfy every person fully. There will be scenarios where bings.ca is simply not able to meet your demands and for that we apologize.
Please note as well that causing a ‘scene’ on public or private forums is very likely to affect the outcome of your warranty and our willingness to assist you further in the future. Come to us first.
